The web site calendar is the official calendar for the club. Please reference this often to see all the wonderful things happening at Canandaigua Sportsmen’s Club! It also indicates when the rifle and pistol bays are closed; you’ll want to know that before heading to the range for practice!
We offer a wide variety of shooting activities!
| Ranges | Three outdoor ranges dedicated for rifle and pistol target shooting: a 10-yard pistol range, a 25-yard pistol and rimfire rifle range, and a rifle range out to 200 yards. |
| Five Stand | Tremendous five-stand is both challenging and a good way to learn clays shooting or get in some practice on specific presentations. |
| Sporting Clays | We have a fully automated course with a wide variety of presentations and challenges in all fifty targets set among the trees and meadows of our site. |
| Leagues | Year-round leagues covering everything from pistols to clays. |
Certified Instructors
We have National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) certified instructors available for classes and lessons.
Hours
The clubhouse is open and staff is on hand during the following hours for sporting clays, five stand, greeting new members, and other business:
| Wednesday | 1 to 7 p.m. | Last sporting clays start time is 6 p.m. or 1 hour before dusk |
| Sunday | 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Last sporting clays start time is 12:30 p.m. |
Members only may use the pistol ranges any day from 9 a.m. to dusk except during shotgun events. Members only may use rifle range any day from 9 a.m. to dusk, except during shotgun events. Ranges may also be closed for special events and/or maintenance. Obey the range signs as posted; violations will result in loss of membership.
