June 4th (Sunday) Charity Sporting Clays Event
|Save the date ! This will be a morning shotgun start [ 9 AM ], followed by a luncheon.
This is the 8th Annual NYS Shoot for a Cure event, and the fourth held at CSC. Last year we raised over $10,000 for cancer research.
Shoot for a Cure event proceeds directly support Leukemia and Lymphoma Society funded blood cancer research. Blood cancers don’t discriminate – the whole population is affected. Several of the LLS funded projects are at the University of Rochester.
In cooperation with Shoot for a Cure and a number of sponsors such as Fiocchi Ammunition, Browning, Beretta, Remington, Buck Knives, Cabela’s, and Wild Wings [wildlife prints] – this event features some excellent gun and general raffle prizes. In addition we have a very special raffle for an African Safari to be drawn at this event.
A free t-shirt is included for all paid preregistrations.
This will be a FUN event. Whether you’re a novice or experienced shooter, plan to come and support the charity. Consider sponsoring a team.
While this is a fun shoot, it is an NSCA registered event and punches will be awarded.
A pre-registration form and flier can be found on the website.
Hopefully you can participate by shooting in the event. However if you don’t want to shoot, but would like to help by donating [cash or check] or we can always use volunteers – help with registration, distributing ammo, selling raffle tickets, serving food, or clean-up.
Contact Dave Hughes at 585-402-4604 if you have any questions, or if you wish to donate/help.
Shoot for a Cure is a 501c3 charitable organization that raised $3.3 million since 2003. They have 17 events scheduled across the country in 2017.
