Dec 2011 Elections!

You are invited to the Board of Directors meeting at the club house, December 5th at 7:00 PM. This meeting is the annual meeting open to all members. We will be voting on amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws, the election of Officers and new Board Members. When attending this meeting, bring your new badge (Its white with a 12 in the upper left corner) as proof of Membership. If your dues were not received by the club you are no longer a member.

The Constitution is being revised. The proposal for the amended Constitution & Bylaws are posted at the Club house as required by the current Constitution.

Nominations for Officers of the Canandaigua Sportsmens Club are being accepted until 5:00 PM on November 28. Write in nominations are accepted at the December 5th Meeting. Currently we have the following nominees for officers:

Vice President	Ed Duckett
Treasurer
Secretary	Gary Reisdorf

Any qualified member interested in being the clubs treasurer please forward your name and credentials to the nominating committee.

Currently we have vacancies on the Board of Directors. We need a few members willing to assist in running the club to forward their name to the nomination committee. Send Email address and other contact information to: Gary Reisdorf greisdo1@rochester.rr.com In the subject bar address it to CSC Nominations. Please forward prior to 5:00 PM on November 28th. Members of the nominating committee are: Mike Smathers, Charlie Moyer, Scott Webb, and assisted by Gary Reisdorf.

Now is the time to renew your membership for another outstanding year at the club. Get your game on with some sporting clays and five stand, or sight in on the ranges for the upcoming seasons.

Fun Shoot Report

Forty-one shooters came and shot the event. They came from as far away as Pennsylvania and Lockport,NY, but our neighbors from Rochester Brooks gun club pretty much cleaned house, winning: High Overall, 12ga, 16ga, 20ga, and 28ga classes. The .410 high score went to the Lady from PA.

The class winners were: 12ga David Martinchek, 16ga Mike Campbell, 20ga Brent Evangelist, 28ga Bob Belvatovich, and .410ga Marilyn Behrend. All the scores area available for download: CSC Fun Shoot 2011-06-11 Results.pdf (168KB). All scores are listed in order. All ties were broken by long-run starting at station one.

Mr. Weatherman didn't sound too promising for the day, but the last shower passed through Canandaigua about 5am, leaving the rest of the day rain free and partly sunny. Thanks to all the shooters who made the fun shoot a success, and to the several members who gave their time and energy to make it all happen.

Special thanks to Ron Youngs' daughter Rebecca who brought to the club the nice pictures and shooting gear of our recently departed member. Those who missed the memorial program at the club got to see some great pictures of Ron and share some of the great memories we all have of him. Ron was a hard working member who really loved shooting events like today's.

Thanks Rebecca for sharing your father Ron with all of us over the years.
